Gazillion Movies Review :
In the beginning of the 19th century, Texas was still owned by the Mexican dictator general Santa Anna. When the Texans have conquered the city San Antonio, the general starts his counterattack in 1836 to break the resistance to reach an independent Texas for once and for all. An army of volunteers about 200 men tall barricade themself in a ford called 'The Alamo' - an abandoned mission. Amongst them the famous David Crockett (Billy Bob Thornton), colonel William Travis and James Bowie. The Alamo against a superior power of 2000 Mexican soldiers, they know to make history in their battle for an independent Texas.
