Gazillion Movies Review :
Mooseport is a quiet, pleasant borough in New England. The fact that Monroe Cole (Gene Hackman), the former president of America, withdraws himself in Mooseport, known for its quite an honor for its inhabitant. Before he can retire quietly, he is asked if he wants to become the new mayor. He accepts the challenge. During the campaign he falls for the charming Sally (Maura Tierney), who has a relation with Handy Harrison (Ray Romano), owner of the local handy shop. Handy has neglected his girlfriend a bit and she gladly accepts the advances of Monroe. Because he cannot live with this, Handy also put himself up as a candidate to become mayor. What at firstly would become a quiet campaign will turn into a real election battle.
