Gazillion Movies Review :
Paris, 1830. While the tension of the revolution dominates the city, suddenly the master detective Vidocq disappears (Gerard Depardieu). Etienne Boisset (Guillaume Canet), the biographer of Vidocq decides to examine the disappearance of the detective. Rapidly tales spreads that The Alchemist, a masked person who has already a lot of mysterious murders and disappearances on his name, has murdered him.
