Gazillion Movies Review :
The true happened story about a journalist who risked her life in search for truth. Halfway the nineties it was as good as war in Dublin, with a couple of powerful drug barons who fought for power. Their most feared enemy was not the police, but the brave Veronica Guerin (Cate Blanchett) who did some research and brought the drug trade into daylight. She had to consider her responsibility to her readers and country against the interests of her family at home. Because of her enormous efforts, with which she changed Ireland for good, she became a national hero.
