The car of David (Luke Wilson) and Amy Fox (Kate Beckinsale) breaks down in a remote place. Because of this, they are forced to spend the night in the only motel in the surroundings. They amuse themselves with looking horror movies on the TV in their room, until they find out that those movies are made in the same room they are in and that the cameras are still hanging there...
