Gazillion Movies Review :
Reporter Helen Madigan (Greta Scacchi) examines the murder on a computer specialist who has written a computer program which can manipulate elections. Quickly she also is chased by killers, who seem to work for an alliance of secret services. Strangely enough the computer program appears to carry the name of Tom McLaughlin (Paul Gross), who was the last prime minister of Canada before this country became a part of the United States. The president of the United States has intentions to invade Saudi Arabia because of oil and McLaughlin, who is all in for peace, makes a bid for the Presidency. Because Helen is afraid that the CIA wants to manipulate the upcoming elections, she decides to visit McLaughlin and to warn him. But quickly she realizes that it isn’t the American authorities, but McLaughlin himself, who is the man behind the computer program and that he planned to take over the White House using a number of European secret services.
