Gazillion Movies Review :
Jack Torrence (Jack Nicholson) is a writer. To be able to work quietly on a new book and make money at the same time, he goes for an interview at the manager of desolated but beautiful Overlook hotel in the mountains of Colorado. It is the intention that he and his wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) and there son Danny (Danny Lloyd) spend the winter over there as a keeper and maintenance man. Small Danny has a strange premonition. Tony, the voice which lives inside him and which is also his best friend, strongly advise him not to stay. Jack is informed by the hotel manager: in 1970, the keeper became crazy of loneliness and confinement and committed suicide, after he had killed his wife and children...
