Gazillion Movies Review :
The French capital sparkles of living during 'the festival of festivals'. The circus has been set up and the 'jour d'amour', the day that everyone can become amorous is almost there. Although many inhabitants of the city happily go on the street, these days are terribly heavy for someone as the not too well looking bell-ringer Quasimodo. Also he wants to become amorous sometimes, but who would fall for such an 'ugly man' after all? Fortunately Quasimodo still has his three friends, the hilarious gargoyle Hugo, Victor and Laverne who can talk some courage into him with difficultly. They recommend him to dress nicely, so he will attract a gentle girl on the street. Once outside he falls straight away for the beautiful Madelein who works as an assistant for the circus owner Sarousch. Sarousch is a master of magic and is able to let all kinds of things disappear; moreover he is a malicious person. Madelein for example once has done something stupid for which he threatens her to turn over to the police if she does not do exactly does what he wants! Fortunately for Quasimodo Madelein finds him a very nice person, but the malicious Sarousch stands their love in the way...
