Gazillion Movies Review : Homer (Tobey Maguire) already lives his complete life in the orphanage of Dr. Larch (Michael Caine) because he never was adopted. Larch considered Homer as his own son and trained him as his continuator. When the young lovers Wally (Paul Rudd) and Candy (Charlize Theron) visit the orphanage, Dr. Larch carries out an abortion, in spite of the fact that this is illegal. Homer decides, to Dr. Larch sorrows, not to continue working in the orphanage his complete life, but to travel the world. He leaves with Candy and Wally to Wally's family, where he starts working as an apple picker.
