Gazillion Movies Review :
Widower Professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) might be a genius and intellectual highly gifted, but when it comes up to family life and emotions he just is as clumsy as everyone else. His daughter (Ellen Page) is an overambitious student who threatens to follow in his footsteps and his adopted brother has brought the art of doing nothing to perfection. Even the Victorian Period in which Lawrence is specialized can no longer urge him to some great deeds and he is sleepwalking through his middle age. A meeting with a former student changes his outlook on life.
