Gazillion Movies Review :
“Persepolis” is the story about Marjane (Gabrielle Lopes) who is faced with the Islamic Revolution in Iran at the age of 9. The fundamentalists force the women to carry veils and take a lot of them imprison. In spite of this social terror, Marjane (Chiara Mastroianni) nevertheless knows to discover punk, Iron Maiden and Abba. She also is sent to Austria by her parents for a safe study environment. Although she is accepted over there after some time, she nevertheless decides to go back to the tyrannical regime of Iran, because it simply feels like home, and decides to continue ventilating her opinion about what she sees.
