Gazillion Movies Review :
Such as a palindrome is a word or word connection that also can be read from the end to the front and still means the same, thus Solondz (Happiness, Welcome to the Dollhouse) sketches the life of the 12-years-old Aviva (also readable from the end to the front). In this movie there are many Aviva's - so she is played by a young child, two adult women, a boy and a couple of teenagers - who live in a world, where every second decisions are made, by herself or her alter ego’s. A dark look on the American family values. With the characteristic black humor of Solondz things as suicide, abortion, religion and loneliness in the suburbs passes the revue.
