Gazillion Movies Review :
A Jewish family escapes for the Nazi-regime to Kenya in 1938. Where they formerly had a luxurious life, they now have to build up their life again. Father Walter (Merab Ninidze), a lawyer, starts working at the farm, whereas mother Jettel (Juliane Köhler) rejects each form of adaptation. Their young daughter Regina (Lea Kurka) is the only one that could find her niche in Africa. She makes friends and embraces the new culture. Later on she (Karoline Eckertz) also gets the urge to find her own identity while the war rages at the other side of the world.
