Gazillion Movies Review :
Germany, the summer of 1936. Toni (Benno Fürmann) and Andreas (Florian Lukas) are old friends who share a passion for mountaineering. They are obsessed by climbing the notorious Nordwand (in popular speech 'Mordwand') of mount Eiger. They proceed with the climbing under big media attention, including Toni's adolescent love Luise (Johanna Wokalek) who now is a journalist for the Nazi party. Underway the two also encounter two Austrians with whom they hang around, but then the weather changes.
