Gazillion Movies Review :
Hoover (Nick Nolte) is at the head of the feared HAT SQUAD, a group of independent police inspectors. With this squad Hoover is more feared than the Mafia. When Hoover's former mistress, Allison (Jennifer Connelly) is killed everything changes. The tempting Allison put all her meetings on tape and this forms a big threat for Hoover's marriage. But there is more. He finds out that the death of his mistress is only a part of a conspiracy which reaches from the White House to a nuclear test area in the desert. Hoover and his squad are faced with the darkest and corrupt side of the FBI and the politics.
