Gazillion Movies Review :
Mississippi 1964. Three human rights activists are assassinated in a horrible way. Reason enough for an investigation. Two FBI agents, the young Ward (William Dafoe) and a bit older, experienced Anderson (Gene Hackman), find out pretty quickly that they are not welcome in the city. The more evidence comes up, the more houses are put on fire as a warning.
