When her husband suddenly falls dead on the table, Raynelle Slocumb (Whoopi Goldberg) calls together the complete family to pay him their last honors and to prepare the funeral. The tensions in the family are running high just as the shimmering heat in the city, when all 'disturbed' brothers meet under the same roof.
