Gazillion Movies Review :
Rotterdam, the thirties. Bailiff Dreverhaven (Jan Decleir) is a powerful, feared man. When Joba (Betty Schuurman), his maid, expected a child of him, she doesn’t want to marry him and leaves his house. She raises their son Katadreuffe (Fedja van Huêt) alone, whereas she refuses to accept something from Dreverhaven. These one decides to thwart his illegitimate son as much as possible to take revenge. Katadreuffe, after a number of setbacks, starts to work at a lawyer's office whereupon the fight between father and son even becomes more violent. A fateful climax is inevitable.
