Gazillion Movies Review : Two years ago the young Afghan journalist Niloufar approached Mohsen Makhmalbaf. The woman who immigrated to Canada requested the director to accompany her on an excursion through Afghanistan. Aim of travel: a desperate girlfriend of Kandahar keeping back from committing suicide. Makhmalbaf agreed with the request, but later he traveled clandestine through Afghanistan. He was touched by the barbaric circumstances in which the population found itself. Shocked Makhmalbaf decided to make a partly documentary, partly fictitious film concerning the worlds forgotten region. Pazira herself interpret the role of a journalist, which undertakes a perilous travel through the empire of the Taliban.
