Gazillion Movies Review : During the Second Napoleonic realm Etienne Lantier is working in the coalmines in Montsou in North France. In the dark depths he gets acquainted with misery and alcoholism. He commits himself for the rights of the workers by striking with his colleagues. The soldiers take hard actions, but he continues with his fight against the injustice.
