Thanks to the progress of science, it now is possible to stipulate the qualities of your children in advance. But Vincent Freeman (Ethan Hawke) is born the old-fashioned way and he must carry on between all the perfect people around him. To fulfil his dream, entering a space mission, he adopts the identity of a genetic perfectly person. But when the leader of the mission is killed, he is the head suspect.
