Gazillion Movies Review :
“Elizabeth: The Golden Age” is the story of the crusade of a woman for love, covering enemies and of to preserve her position in the western world. When Mary Stuart, the cousin of Queen Elizabeth I tighten the bond of friendship with Phillip of Spain to get a higher position for the throne, it is Sir Francis Walsingham who has to protect the queen against Mary Stuart in a power struggle. Elizabeth must stand firm and even has to be prepared to start a war, but this is prevented when she becomes secretly in love with a man.
