Gazillion Movies Review : Daigo Kobayashi (Masahiro Motoki) is a young married cello player, who just is dispelled from the orchestra. Because he is booted and not having hope in making a career, he decides to move to his birthplace with his wife. Here he becomes a nokanshi, an undertaker who washes the corpses and dresses them before putting them into their coffin to bring them to the next world. His wife and acquaintances look down on him, but because of the daily confrontation with dead, Daigo starts realizing what life is all about.
