Gazillion Movies Review :
In a beauty shop in Beirut the lives of five women crosses. The beauty shop acts as a coloured and sensual microcosm where they entrust their concerns to each other. Layla (Nadine Labaki) loves Rabih, a married man. Nisrine (Yasmine Elmasri) is a Muslim. She is about to marry, but is no longer a virgin. Rima (Joanna Mkarzel) feels attracted to women. Jamale (Gisèle Aouad) refuses to become older. Rose (Sihame Haddad) has sacrificed her own live to look after her sick sister. In the saloon, the lively and intimate conversations of course are about men, sex, the motherhood... between cutting hair and depilating with... caramel.
