Gazillion Movies Review :
The movie is about the period in which the American writer Truman Capote (Philip Seymour Hoffman) - author of among other things Breakfast at Tiffany's – is writing its non-fiction novel about the killing of a family in Kansas, 'In Cold Blood'. With aid of the mate writer Nelle Harper Lee (Catherine Keener) - author of To Kill a Mockingbird - Capote tries to become friends with the local population, so in this way he can learn more about the brutal assassination. The facts shocks him, but he also gets close with one of the killers; Perry Smith (Collins). Whereas the book approaches its completion and the day of the execution continuously comes closer, Capote gets swept away and influenced by the case that he proves to be changed once and for all by these experiences.
