Although he already has been locked up in a protecting plastic balloon all his life, under the always watchful eye of his over-protective mother, Jimmy (Jake Gyllenhaal) never had the idea that he missed a thing. Until his neighbor girl takes off to go and marry at the Niagara Falls! Now that the wedding is only a few days away, Jimmy has no other choice than to make a mobile plastic balloon. In this he will travel through the entire country to stop the wedding and to declare her his love!
