Gazillion Movies Review : In Australia a Special Force Unit was set up, which carried out more than 300 operations in WOII. On a Japanese Island, survivors of American crashed planes are kept prison. Captain P.G. Kelly (Mel Gibson) is the commander of a Special Force Unit existing of 5 hard commandos, who must save the survivors. It is Kelly’s first mission as a commander and Sergeant Costello (Sam Neill) continuously reminds him of that. Once on the island for a while, the mission doesn’t prove to be as easy as initially thought. Inhabitants of the island rush to their aid, but this seems to endanger the mission even more.
