Gazillion Movies Review :
It is the summer of 1935. The 13-year-old, from a wealthy family originating, Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan), is burgeoning play writer. She wants that her niece Lola (Juno Temple) and the twin Jackson (Ben Harcourt) and Pierrot (Jack Harcourt) perform a play based on one of Briony’s plays, but it’s a poor piece of work. That day however, she sees how Robbie (James McAvoy), the son of the clerk of the house, let Briony's sister Cecilia (Keira Knightley) strips for him. Afterwards she reads an obscene letter from Robbie to Cecilia and draws her own conclusions. When her niece Lola is violated the next day, she accuses Robbie without any proof. Everyone believes her, except her sister Cecilia, who still is hopelessly in love with Robbie. Robbie, however, ends up by the agency of Briony in prison and shortly afterwards gets involved in the battle of Dunkirk as a young soldier in France…
