Animal (2005)

Gazillion Movies Review : Europe, the near future. Thomas Nielsen (Andreas Wilson) is an expert in molecular biology. As many of his ambitious colleagues, he believes that genetic manipulation can improve people. Vincent Iparrak (Diogo Infante), called "the hunter", is a charismatic serial killer who cut his victims throat with a hunting knife. Locked up in an ultramodern prison, he awaits his execution. Thomas makes Iparrak a very attractive offer. The scientist will prove that Iparrak's DNA has some errors. With this proof, he can escape the sentence. There is one condition. The killer must grant authorisation to Thomas for an experiment: injecting a serum which changes the genes and neutralises the murderous pulses. But is science able to correct God's errors?
