1996. An international team of climbers undertake an attempt to beat the legendary Mount Everest and amongst them ... the son of Tenzing Norgay, who partly comments this fascinating documentary. We follow the extensive preparations, their journey to the top and their successful return to the base camp. The movie also shows the large amount of setbacks and challenges, like avalanches, shortage of oxygen, deceptive walls of ice and a deadly snowstorm.
