Movie Plot : After the treason of Vesper Lynd, James Bond (Daniel Craig) has to do an effort to keep his feelings out of his mission. Together with M (Judi Dench) he questions Mr. White (Jesper Christensen), whose confessions give them more insight in the complex blackmailing Lynd had to deal with. A new discovery brings Bond to Haiti, where he meets the just as beautiful as mysterious Camille (Olga Kurylenko).

Movie Plot : Sunday 30 January 1972, Derry, Northern Ireland. Ivan Cooper (James Nesbitt) organizes a non-violent march for equal rights between Catholics and Protestants. He is definitely intending to exclude all violence between the different parties. But in spite of his consultation with the Unionist authorities and his attempts to negotiate with the British Order Forces the demonstration gets out of hand: thirteen people are shot by the army. Since that day January 30th is known as "Bloody Sunday". A date, which also meant the start of the civil war in Northern Ireland.

Movie Plot : On the evening of his engagement with Ethne, daughter of a perished officer, Harry Faversham gets to hear that his regiment will be shipped to the then British colony Sudan, to suppress a rebellion of Moslem extremists. Harry however doesn’t like the idea to fight a battle in a strange place that doesn’t concern him and he takes dismissal. This is not received favorably by his friends and they send him each a white feather, the brand mark of a coward in army surroundings. Moreover he also gets a fourth white feather of his fiancée, who considers their relation as concluded with it. When the first bulletins of victims reach United Kingdom, and Harry is searching in vain for the names of his friends between the lists of the ones that are killed in action, he goes to Sudan to return the feathers by means of a heroic deed.
