Movie Plot : After the master of young William (Heath Ledger) dies, he sets of with his friends Roland (Mark Addy) and Wat (Alan Tudyk). During their trip they meet the unknown writer Chaucher (Paul Bettany). William knows to convince Chaucher to make fake documents, so he can pretend to be a knight in life. Afterwards William is willing to proof that he is worth the title.

Movie Plot : In the worst running hotel of England Ritchie Twat (Rick Mayall) and Eddie, or rather said Edward Elizabeth Ninglebubba (Adrian Edmondson) taking care of the daily (ab)normal course of events. Ritchie is the manager who doesn't do anything at all and Eddie is the one that doesn't have a function but does everything. Beside that there is also a cook and a missing (probably dead) helper. Sometimes they have guests, like a typical English family, a Diva who's had her days and a just married couple, but mostly the men themselves have problems with each other. This causes a lot of absurd and idiot situations, of which the guests cannot escape.

Movie Plot : Young writer William Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) has problems with his last work "Romeo and Ethal". The young and rich Viola (Gwyneth Paltrow) is a big fan of Shakespeare, and dreams of it to become an actress. Women however are not permitted on the stage, thus she dresses up as a boy, and gets the role of Romeo. When she and William become amorous he at last has the inspiration to finish his play.
