Movie Plot : When the Gaul hears that the Romans are sending a legion to participate in the Olympic Games, they send their own champions Asterix (Clovis Cornillac) and Obelix (Gérard Depardieu). The Greek referees however, forbid the use of their magical potion. The Gaul now has to try to win with their own strengths.

Movie Plot : It is 50 before Christ. Our big heroes Asterix (Christian Clavier) and Obelix (Gérard Depardieu) live in a small village in Gaul, it is the only village that not yet has been conquered by the Romans. Asterix and Obelix get some help of their friends of the village to fight Caesar (Gottfried John) and to restore the peace in Gaul.
