Movie Plot : The summer of 1961. The record of the most home runs in a competition stands, with 60 homeruns, still on Babe Ruth’s name. If that record will hold long depends on Roger Maris (Barry Pepper) and Mickey Mantle (Thomas Jane) , both of the New York Yankees. This season they do an attempt to break the record. Mickey starts best with 9 home runs in a couple of weeks. Roger doesn’t start that good, but finds back his good shape some weeks later.
