Movie Plot : Fish dealer Jake Bianski (Jay Jablonski) is trying to get his ex-girlfriend back for years. It is eight years ago that she left him, but the fact that she is married and has 3 children doesn’t stop him. Jake's friends at a certain moment have enough of it and arrange a date with the Italian Marisa Costa (Cerina Vincent). Jack however has a problem: he is convinced that such a beautiful Italian woman make dates with men that haven’t got the Italian roots. Jake will do everything to make a good appearance on the woman and by this finds his true love.

Movie Plot : General practitioner Jeremy Lovell (Liam Neeson) is sent into the forest of Robertsville with the sheriff to officially determine the death of miss Violet Kelly. In the hut, where the woman lived as a hermit, they find the unworldly girl Nell (Jodie Foster). She has lived her complete live in seclusion and is extremely frightened. Moreover she talks an own unintelligible language, as a result of which each form of communication is impossible. Jeremy wants to help Nell and asks some advice of psychiatrist Paula Olsen (Natasha Richardson). She immediately is interested and wants to observe Nell in a hospital. Jeremy believes that Nell has to stay in her natural surroundings to be able to penetrate in her environment. The doctors do not succeed in come to a compromise, as a result of which the case comes to court. The court just wants to decide in a few months. In that time Paula and Jeremy can observe the girl in her natural surroundings. But then the press finds out about Nell...
