Movie Plot : The Irish Castle of Peter Plunkett (Peter O'Toole), which is turned into a hotel, got in financial problems. To get more American tourists, Peter decides to let his employees act as if they are ghosts. The problems start when a bus with tourists arrives; with amongst them some real ghosts. Amongst the tourists is the couple Jack (Steve Guttenberg) and Sharon (Beverly D'Angelo). The father of Sharon owns the mortgage of the Castle, and for this reason they don’t want to recognize that it is haunted. Jack however has met the attractive ghost Mary (Daryl Hannah), and gladly wants to believe in ghosts.

Movie Plot : The movie starts in the United Kingdom in 1935. Old-Colonel Thomas Edward Lawrence (Peter O'Toole) dies after an accident with his motorcycle at young age.
