Movie Plot : "Abraham" (Richard Harris) tells the story of the first patriarch and his overwhelming belief in God. He turns his back on safety and property to follow God's voice, who send him and his people on an exhausting journey to the Promised Land. It also is the story of his beloved wife Sara (Barbara Hershey), their deprivation in the desert and their pass under the yoke of the Egyptians, the drama of the arrest of Lot (Andrea Prodan) and the destruction of Sodom. It's also about Abraham's happiness about the birth of his sons Ishmael (Giuseppe Peluso) and Isaac (Taylor Scipio) and the despair when God asks him to offer that what is most close to him: Isaac, his heir, his own flesh and blood.
