Movie Plot : A deadly virus ends the life of hundreds of thousands of people untimely in Scotland, whereupon the country is isolated from the rest of the world by a huge wall. People who try to escape are shot and the wall itself contains all kinds of weapons to prevent the escaping of contaminate people. 30 years later the virus, called 'The Reaper' emerges again, this time in the heart of London. An elite team is sent behind the wall in Scotland to find doctor Kane (Malcolm McDowell), who was close to a breakthrough in his research about the outbreak 30 years ago.

Movie Plot : The Magdalena convents in Ireland, managed by the Sisters of Mercy, were catholic institutes where 'fallen' women were brought by their families to pay for their sins. Margaret was violated on a wedding party by her cousin. She told this in confidence to a girlfriend and was already brought to Magdalena the next morning. In the orphanage where Bernadette is placed and she is one of the older girls, the pleasure she shares with the younger girls in the home is fatal to her when a couple playful boys outside the fence on which she reacts curiously break the isolation of the girls.
