Movie Plot : When a group of women are kidnapped in the wintry landscape of Virginia, the only clues are the grotesque human remains which are found along the motorway. With the officials in search for some progress in the case, the doubtful visions of a priest fallen in disgrace ensure that the police is searching on the wrong places. Also it leads them to a bizarre and secret medical experimenting which maybe has something to do with the disappearance of the women. This really is a case for the X-Files. But the FBI has stopped that department for studying the paranormal cases years ago. Former agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) are asked to help in this case.

Movie Plot : Two opposites, the "open-minded" Fox Mulder (David Duchovny), and the skeptical Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), already work some years at the FBI at the X-Files: unsolved cases with a supernatural tone. Because of the constant conflicts, which they have with their superiors, the X-Files recently has been closed, whereupon Mulder and Scully are put on a bomb alert. When the government building is blown up, the blame is almost pined on them. They decide to go on investigation themselves. Mulder finds out that his suspicion concerning the presence of extraterrestrial life on earth is based on the truth: there is a secret society that keeps all information about this hidden. An outbreak of alien-activity in Texas is the beginning of an investigation.
