Movie Plot : Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock) is a successful New York writer, who has a wild party life. She turns up in all trendy clubs and is found drunk at each party. Her life takes a complete turn when she looses her head on the wedding party of her sister Lily (Elizabeth Perkins). She is condemned to a session of 28 days in a detoxification centre. Gwen must stick to a strict schedule full of rules and appointments. She pretty quickly gets in conflict with herself and the other patients, but the cynical Gwen doesn’t want to lay down with the daily routine of the institute.
