Movie Plot : Roy Munson is a professional bowler who tries to swindle a group of greenhorns by acting as if he also is a greenhorn. When his victims find it out, they mutilate his throwing hand that terrible that it must be amputated and Roy has to live with a hook as a hand. Roy's lives complete comes down to the earth, until he encounters Ishmael (Quaid), which can bowl pretty well. He decides to register him for large tournament, but is Ishmael as good as he seems?

Movie Plot : Eddy (Josh Charles) and Stuart (Stephen Baldwin) share a student house. By a misunderstanding in the administration Alex (Lara Flynn Boyle), a female student, becomes their third roommate. Rapidly Alex falls for the quiet Eddy, and Stuart likes Alex. Eddy is struggling with his homosexual feelings and moreover, he starts to cherish feelings for Stuart. The three are becoming good friends, but some feelings will ensure problems.
