Movie Plot : For generations, the inhabitants of the city of Ember have lived in a splendid world full with miraculous glittering lights. When the inhabitants find out that these lights start losing their strength and the light source strongly declines a race against time starts. Two teenagers start an adventure in which they want to retrieve the existence of the city of Ember and have to help all inhabitants to escape the city before the lights go out.

Movie Plot : After Lawson Russell no longer is allowed to be a lawyer, he goes to somewhere to write a book, but that is not that easy as he thought. Then he meets an old man who has a manuscript and he may read it. To his surprise it is terrible good; he also wants to write something like that. The old man dies and he pretends as if the manuscript is his. It becomes a best-seller. Then it appears that the killings which have been described in the book really have happened and he is arrested. He will have to prove himself not guilty by finding the real killer.

Movie Plot : Hortence (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), a young black woman, already know since her childhood that she was adopted.
