Movie Plot : For generations, the inhabitants of the city of Ember have lived in a splendid world full with miraculous glittering lights. When the inhabitants find out that these lights start losing their strength and the light source strongly declines a race against time starts. Two teenagers start an adventure in which they want to retrieve the existence of the city of Ember and have to help all inhabitants to escape the city before the lights go out.

Movie Plot : Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock) is a successful New York writer, who has a wild party life. She turns up in all trendy clubs and is found drunk at each party. Her life takes a complete turn when she looses her head on the wedding party of her sister Lily (Elizabeth Perkins). She is condemned to a session of 28 days in a detoxification centre. Gwen must stick to a strict schedule full of rules and appointments. Movie Plot : After Lawson Russell no longer is allowed to be a lawyer, he goes to somewhere to write a book, but that is not that easy as he thought. Then he meets an old man who has a manuscript and he may read it. To his surprise it is terrible good; he also wants to write something like that. The old man dies and he pretends as if the manuscript is his. It becomes a best-seller. Then it appears that the killings which have been described in the book really have happened and he is arrested. He will have to prove himself not guilty by finding the real killer.

Movie Plot : Hortence (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), a young black woman, already know since her childhood that she was adopted. Whereas the rest of the family is fighting for the house after the death of her foster mother, Hortence decides to visit her biological mother. To her big amazement, her mother is white. She lives together with her daughter Roxanne (Claire Rushbrook) and has a difficult relation with her brother Maurice (Timothy Spall), a wedding photographer.
