Movie Plot : Maurice (Peter O'Toole), Ian (Leslie Phillips) and Donald (Richard Griffiths) are three golden agers who meet each other every day in their favourite pub to drink a glass together, to have pity with the world’s present state and to have a dig at each other. Time made their bodies slowly, but not their clever brains. The story begins when the old Ian ardently waits for the coming of the teen-ager daughter of a cousin, a girl that comes and looks after him. Once arrived the cheekily tease Jessie (Jodie Whittaker) appears to be the opposite of what he expected: he had bought her a specimen of one of Bach's Passions, but the girl prefers MTV. It doesn’t take long or Ian is completely frustrated because of the caprioles of his guest. Nevertheless, Maurice, a somewhat known actor, starts finding the energetic girl quite amusing and soon the two starts accompanying each other wherever they go. He takes her to the theatre and she takes him to the discotheques. Maurice discovers and experiences his prime … and his age didn’t cool down his desires for female beauty.
