Movie Plot : “We Are Marshall” is a fact-based story about the football team of the Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. The story takes place in the 70’s, when whole Huntington stood behind their popular team and it lived for the football. However, one evening after a competition, the 75 team members and their staff die when their airplane crashes down. In the period that follows, Huntington slowly tries to get over the incident, in which the new coach Jack Lengyel (Matthew McConaughey) must begin building up a new football team in Huntington.

Movie Plot : In their younger days, Carter (Jeff Bridges), Vinnie (Nick Nolte) and Rosie (Sharon Stone) falsify horse races. When somebody found it out, they blackmailed him to be silent. 20 years later Carter and Rosie are married and they successfully lead a horse-breeding in Kentucky. Vinnie on the other hand is an alcoholic and want to straighten out with the past. He lures Carter to California, robs him and travels with the blackmail documents to Kentucky. At a complete loss, Carter calls in the aid of Vinnie's girlfriend Cecilia (Catherine Keener). Together they will try to stop Vinnie.
