Movie Plot : Michael (Robert De Niro), Steven (John Savage) and Nick (Christopher Walken) are three young factory workers from Pennsylvania who are called to arms to fight in Vietnam. Before they go, Steven marries the pregnant Angela (Rutanya Alda), and their wedding party at the same time is the farewell party of the three boys. After fighting for a while in the war, they are caught by the Vietcong and are put in a camp in which they are forced to play Russian roulette play against each other.

Movie Plot : Brooklyn, New York, august 22nd, 1972. Just before lunch time closing, Sonny (Al Pacino) and Sal (John Cazale) rob a bank to get money to finance the sex change of a friend. The robbery was not allowed to take longer then ten minutes, but there is not enough money in the safe and the police are more quickly at the crime scene then they thought, so the gangsters are locked inside with their hostages. The next hours a nerve-racking situation arises. In the meantime the press has arrived and dozens of people crowded round the bank.
