Movie Plot : “Man from Plains” follows the leitmotiv of “Palestine: Peace not apartheid”, the most recent book of old-president Jimmy Carter. Jonathan Demme with this documentary shows more of both the private and public side of Carter during his publicity tour which leads him through the country. He sketches the picture of a man who, in spite of much critics of the press, continues believing in his ideals.
