Movie Plot : The young girl Lyra Belacqua (Dakota Blue Richards) lives in Oxford in a parallel universe. Here the souls of deceased people are visible as animals which take another form each time. One day she hears her father discussion about a new physical element: Dust. This element has the power to unite worlds, as a result of which it is both hated and coveted by several parties, among which the church. Lyra undertakes a journey to the element, and must fight with demons, spirits and other creatures, only having a magical compass.

Movie Plot : Paris 1919. This is the tale concerning the rivalry between two large artists: Modigliani (Andy Garcia) and Picasso (Omid Djalili).
