Movie Plot : The French capital sparkles of living during 'the festival of festivals'. The circus has been set up and the 'jour d'amour', the day that everyone can become amorous is almost there. Once outside he falls straight away for the beautiful Madelein who works as an assistant for the circus owner Sarousch. Sarousch is a master of magic and is able to let all kinds of things disappear; moreover he is a malicious person. Madelein for example once has done something stupid for which he threatens her to turn over to the police if she does not do exactly does what he wants! Fortunately for Quasimodo Madelein finds him a very nice person, but the malicious Sarousch stands their love in the way...
