Movie Plot : Nobody remains untouched by the strength of the seasons and their annual cycle of birth, growth and decline, even not the two monks who share a hermitage that floats on a pond in the middle the mounts. With unfolding the seasons every aspect of their both lives is penetrated by an intensity, which leads to a bigger spirituality - and tragedy. Because they also don’t escape lives wishes, the desires, suffering and the passion that keeps us all busy. Under the eye of the old monk the young monk experiences the loss of innocence when a game takes an atrocious twist, experiences the awaking of love when a woman penetrates their protected life, feels the deadly strength of jealousy and obsession, the price of salvation and the relief of experience. Just like the seasons continuously are liable to changes, will the hermitage for always be a home for the spirit, floating between now and perpetuity.
