Movie Plot : In South-Carolina in 1964, Lily Owens (Dakota Fanning) and her only friend Rosaleen Daise (Jennifer Hudson) run away from home to escape the strict upbringing and difficult relation with her father. Lily also runs away because she wants to find out the secrets and mysteries of her deceased mother. Underway they meet three sisters who are bee-keepers and who receive the couple with open arms in their house. There they probably will be able to reveal the secret of Lily’s mother.
